Tune into A Prairie Home Companion tomorrow for a rerun of DRM’s performance

This week on A Prairie Home Companion, a colorful mix of two shows from the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee will be re-broadcast. Featuring Emmylou Harris and Sara Watkins as diner waitresses in an episode of The Lives of the Cowboys, Fred Newman as teenage heartthrob Justin LaFever, dueling fiddlers Sam Bush and Stuart Duncan, the Dave Rawlings Machine, and signs of spring in Lake Wobegon. A clip of Dave’s version of “This Land Is Your Land,” including his spoken introduction, can be heard on NPR’s All Things Considered from January 31, 2011. The clip is taken from Dave and Gillian’s performance at the Concert For Equality in Nebraska last year. The episode, which can be streamed online or downloaded as an MP3, interviews Conor Oberst about the concert and his new album.
