Heading West – On Sale Now!

The Dave Rawlings Machine, featuring Gillian Welch, John Paul Jones, Willie Watson, and Paul Kowert with bandleader Dave Rawlings, is headed west this fall, playing dates in California, Oregon, Montana, and Washington state.

The Machine to appear on the Opry stage!

The Dave Rawlings Machine has added a Grand Ole Opry appearance to the end of its June touring. Dave Rawlings, Gillian Welch, Willie Watson, Paul Kowert, and John Paul Jones will appear on the Nashville stage on Saturday, June 28th, at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased on the Opry website here.

The Machine is adding a second Boulder Theater show to their summer tour, on Thursday, June 19th! The full tour schedule is below. The new Boulder show goes on sale this Friday, with a fan club presale on Thursday, May 22nd. Stay tuned for presale code and ticket link.

Summer Tour Date Announcement

Dave Rawlings Machine’s barnstorming 2013 lineup is back for six nights only this summer, beginning June 18 in Boulder, CO, followed by Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and finishing up on June 27 at Nashville, TN’s legendary Ryman Auditorium. Gillian Welch, John Paul Jones, Willie Watson and Paul Kowert will join Dave Rawlings for an evening of distinctive picking, high lonesome songs and many other high caliber acoustic entertainments.

All tour dates (save Telluride) are on sale Friday, March 21, at 10am local time. Complete tour dates are below.

Gill and Dave featured on new Benmont Tench solo album

Keyboardist for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and renowned sideman Benmont Tench is coming out with his first solo album, You Should Be So Lucky on February 18th. The first single from that record, “Blonde Girl, Blue Dress,” features Gill and Dave on vocals, Tom Petty on bass, and Ringo Starr on tambourine.
